WRDA Guidance is used for implementation of provisions included in WRDA. Guidance includes details on how to carry out projects in accordance with the law.
Energy & Water Appropriations

E&W Appropriations provide funding to the projects and initiatives authorized in WRDA and previous legislation.
After Congress has appropriated E&W funding into three categories:
- Operations & Maintenance
Corps districts will send project funding requests to their Division. The Corps Division will then prioritize it's requests with the requests of it's districts and made a final request to be sent to Corps Headquarters in Washington, DC. Finally, Corps Headquarters will send it's final recommendations to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works. Following a rigorous economic and budgeting battle between the White House Office of Management and Budget, the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works will release a Work Plan.
- Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (February 9, 2018)
In addition to annual appropriations, Congress provides supplemental appropriations to account for expenses made by the Federal government in response to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters.
